IPSS Symptom test

About the IPSS

BPH can present with different degrees of severity. You can assess your BPH symptoms by answering eight questions based on the International Prostate Symptom Score (IPSS) questionnaire to measure the severity.

Each question concerning urinary symptoms allows you to choose one out of six answers indicating increasing severity of the particular symptom.

The total score ranges from 0 to 35 (asymptomatic to very symptomatic). Higher scores indicate more severe symptoms. Scores less than seven are considered mild and generally do not warrant treatment. Irrespective of your result, together with your doctor you can track the characteristics and discuss your therapy.
